A VERSATILE PROFILE

Born in Rome, Italy, while still a university student Stefano Maria Ortolani began working with Luchino Visconti on the films Conversation Piece and L’innocente, with Giuseppe Patroni Griffi on The Divina Creatura, and with Mario Monicelli.

He also collaborated on international films like Orca the Killer Whale directed by Michael Anderson.
